Jack's Week 2 Homework task:
Hi my name is jack lucas I am a convict and this is my story. well it was about 23-4-1795 I was arestered for stealing a loaf of bread i was given 10 lashes and sent on a ship bound for a country called Australia now I tell you I have had some ruff time but this ship trip was the toughest trip of my life it took 6 moths of live in hell. I had dysentery & fever not so much to eat the shackles cut me legs and me arms the guard let me out for some fresh air and exercise not that often. here come the guard so will catch you later jack lucas convict Kianna's week 2 writing task: Hello my name is Kianna Fountain and this is my story .The year was 1783 the 21st of March. It was my mothers birthday and my family was staving so I went and stole a loaf of bread for my family but I got caught. I was lashed 15 times after that my bottom hurt then I was put on a convict ship as the boat left the dock I sadly waved good by to my parents. The convict ship was bound for Australia, I had no idea where that was. The convict ship smelt like dead people I slept in a hammock with 2 dead rats .Most of the time I was wet because water leaked in the boat. I was held below the deck I would only be allowed out to get fresh air.It took us 6 months to get to Australia when we got there they put me in a prison. But the next day I broke out of jail the guards chased me for days finally they stopped on the 6th day. As the days went past I found myself in a place called cooma and that is were I still live today . Kianna Fountain the convict. |
