Lunch OrdersLunch Orders are provided from the Adaminaby Bakehouse. Students are required to place their order in the navy blue lunch basket, which is kept in the office storeroom and is placed in the office foyer on lunch order days.
Lunch order days are Mondays and Fridays. On Monday Christine will take the basket with the orders to the bakehouse by 10am. On Fridays, Alan will deliver the basket to the Bakehouse. If either of these staff members are not at school on these days alternate arrangements will need to be made. Filled orders are delivered by the Bakehouse to the school at the beginning of lunch. First AidIn the event that students require first aid, supplies are located in the office. An epipen is located in the office first aid as well as the first aid bag, that is taken when leaving the school. Please write up any first aid attention given in the first aid register, along with a brief description of the injury and how it was obtained.
Ice paks are in the fridge in the bag room area of the classroom building. First Aid Plan

Bell TimesMorning Session: 9:15am
Recess: 11am Middle Session: 11:30am Lunch: 1:15pm Afternoon Session: 2pm Home Time: 3:15pm Playground Duty StatementRostered Teachers must actively monitor the playground. The area allocated for students is the space from the front fence down to the row of trees before the chicken coop, and between the side fence next to the carpark and extending over to the front of admin building, office building and sports shed. It also includes the C.O.L.A area. Students use the oval, only after checking with the teacher on duty, so that the teacher on duty knows that they are there. Out of bounds areas include, the garden, the are beside and behind the art room, the area behind the admin building, the space between the library and the fence bordering the school residence and amongst the native trees behind the soccer goal. With permission students may enter these areas for a particular reason eg. to water garden, collect sporting equipment, look after chickens, empty bin into compost etc.
In the morning however the only allocated place to play is the play equipment area, defined as from the front fence to the path. Teacher on morning duty needs to meet the students exiting the bus when it arrives at the gate and is responsible for letting students know when they are able to play on the equipment, previous to this announcement students are required to sit on the seating in front of the classroom building (or supervising teacher may choose to move students indoors in cold or inclement weather). Teacher on duty sends a student to bring another staff member out to the playground if they are busy attending to a playground situation that they believe may take their attention away from being able to reasonably supervise the playground - this is at the supervising teachers discretion, and decided on within the scope of the Code of Conduct. It is the role of the supervising teacher to organise the ringing of the bell to signify the beginning of play after the 10 minute eating time at recess and lunch and at the end of the play period (see bell times). It is up to the teacher on duty to make arrangements when weather is inclement - eg play under C.O.L.A. or play indoors. Emergency Management Plan
