Term 3 Homework Project for years 3 – 6
Last term we are reading Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. The project will be a series of tasks based on the book as well as Greek mythology.
There are 12 tasks and 6 weeks to complete the project. That means that students should do 2 tasks per week to stay on track.
The project is due Friday 4th September.
Students may present their project in a number of ways. They may make a slideshow presentation of their tasks, which can be emailed to me, [email protected] , or saved onto a usb drive and handed in to me, or uploaded onto Edmodo or via the share page in our classroom website. Projects can be presented on cardboard. Tasks can be completed on paper and handed in. Tasks may be typed and printed, or handwritten.
1. Design your own Greek vase showing a scene from The Lightning Thief.
Remember when we looked at the greek art on the vases at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York? You can look at it again here: Greek Art at The MET
